When I first starting going to Church I disliked Worship music. As in, "can we just be late so I don't have to listen to the music" dislike. I went to a small little Church called Destiny. It was my first "real" Church with my family in the mid 90's. During my time at this little Church, I learned to LOVE and understand Worship. I don't know if I learned to enjoy it because we had an amazing Worship Team who worked tirelessly to match the music with the sermon, or if it was the Deaf interpreter who "sang" along that entrenched my heart strings and emotion, but whatever it was, it worked. That little Church fell apart. I then Church surfed, ending up at Christ The King. I loved their music, but it just never did to me what Destiny did. I have NEVER listened to Christian music in the car, at home, nowhere. Until recently. I don't know what switch turned on, but one day it did about three months ago. I put on Pandora one day and fell in love all over again with Worship music. It gives me peace, that's my new why. Are you a Worship music lover or do you avoid it like I did for 20 years?
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; ~PSALM 95:6
